and we develop our activity based on respect for the environment, through sustainable criteria and promoting environmental awareness among our collaborators, suppliers and employees. This way of doing things involves all areas and facets of both the company and the products we market as well as the people who work here, so we try to bring this mentality not only to the big activities but also in the small details of everyday life as you can see below with the actions we put in place.
Sustainability in our activities
Facilities
We have developed a system for the reuse of the water used in the production process within a closed circuit in the plant.
We have solar panels through which we generate all the energy we need for the development of our daily activities.
We have installed water fountains with osmosis treatment instead of the classic ones with plastic bottles that have to be manufactured and transported.
Resources
Reduction of the micronage of our bags and doypacks to minimize the raw material required in their manufacture.
Reduction of paper used in brochures, catalogs and other promotional materials by promoting the use of digital versions.
Reduction of plastic cups used in the coffee machines in the rest areas, which have been replaced by cardboard cups, and the distribution of reusable water bottles to staff.
Fleet of vehicles
Replacement of traditional forklifts with electric forklifts with the consequent reduction of gas emissions into the atmosphere.
Replacement of loaders at the plant with SCR AdBlue system with the consequent reduction of gas emissions into the atmosphere.
Awareness
We promote sustainable criteria and environmental awareness among our collaborators, suppliers and employees through our social networks and through conferences, fairs, lectures and other similar actions.
Innovation
We belong to the Innovatrigo operating group, thanks to which we have managed to develop a wheat fertilization program that involves the entire value chain and reducesCO2 emissions, enabling us to manufacture and market bakery products with a low carbon footprint.
Recycling
To reduce our environmental impact we must put into practice the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle), with recycling being fundamental.
We are members of the Sigfito program for the recycling of our product packaging.
We actively work to maximize the recycling of waste generated at the plant: cardboard, plastics and others.
We use recycled plastic packaging in our products.
We use recycled and recyclable materials both in the packaging of our products and in the company’s merchandising.

Our commitment to product improvement is constant and proof of this are the multiple projects we carry out every year.

We have 3 photovoltaic plants, electric forklifts, modern loaders and we recycle our packaging with Sigfito to reduce our emissions.
More than 47,000 kg of waste recycled per year
We recycle in-plant waste such as cardboard, plastics and other materials.
More than 680,000 m3 of process water reused each year
We reuse the water from the production process in the plant.
More than 1,700 kg of NOx gases not emitted into the atmosphere per year
Our new loaders are equipped with the SCR system with AdBlue to reduce emissions.

With these latest generation ultra-localized fertilizers, we maximize the use of the units of fertilizer applied, increase efficiency and reduce by more than half the fertilizer required, with the corresponding reductions in impact as a result of production processes, transportation and soil contamination.
These fertilizers with inhibited nitrogen increase their efficiency by reducing application rates and minimizing nitrogen losses to the maximum, with the corresponding reduction of impact as a result of production processes, transportation and soil and aquifer contamination.
With biostimulants we act at two levels. On the one hand, we strengthen the plant by achieving a preventive effect on diseases and on the other hand we are maximizing crop yields to achieve higher yields with the same resources and thus contribute to feed the population of the planet.
